My name is Daniel Brown, though I am new to real estate, I have found my calling, I am certain I can make your buying or selling process as seamless and joyful as possible. After serving in the Navy as a nuclear power plant electrician until 2007, I found myself in Houston county with the oilfield. My work in the area took me up and down every back road from Shreveport to College Station, seeing the little places with nothing more than a for sale sign out front always had me thinking about real estate as a business. When my wife and I went through the process of buying our home in 2020, I knew this was what I was meant to do, making others' experiences as simple and rewarding as possible. I was born and raised in the Houston area. After a lengthy home search in various communities around Houston, myself, my husband and two kids landed in the Magnolia area in 2008. Our goal in our home search was to find a forever home for our family to grow with, and create wonderful lifetime memories. Magnolia was the perfect landing place for us, and we have thoroughly enjoy living in the Magnolia area.

My former position as a client service director for one of the nation’s top veterinary specialty practices gave me years of experience in assisting people in emotionally stressful situations. And although buying or selling a home is hopefully a happier venture than a critically ill pet, it still can come with stress.

To ensure a successful experience, I utilize my talent for guiding people through unfamiliar and emotional processes, as well as my skill and experience in negotiating, understanding and explaining contracts, and remaining calm under pressure. Barb Milstead has been a licensed Realtor® since 2016. Prior to being in real estate she traveled the US training and showing horses and later owned and operated an oil and gas construction company that operated in North Dakota. She is also currently a licensed Realtor® in Montana and has many contacts all along the Rocky Mountain front.
